Marino Wine Box This pair of tasty wines from the Bordeau region arrive snugly fitted into a pretty painted wooden box. The delightful Bordeaux Rouge is made from vines grown on the hills overlooking the Garonne River, a region producing particularly elegant wines. The soil is clay/limestone, and the vineyard 56 acres. Produced from a blend of 43% Merlot, 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 6% Cabernet Franc, this deep ruby coloured wine has a bouquet of ripe fruits and some prune and liquorice showing. Quite firm on the palate, but with reasonably mature tannins and a long balanced finish. Will keep for at least 5 years, and partner all meats.
