Orvietto Classico Baroncini - 2009Italian White Wine 75 cl Bottle
The Orvieto hills of central Umbria produce subtle dry white wine with a delicate bouquet of straw and peach. Trebbiano is the predominant varietal but the addition of a little Malvasia and Grechetto add some complexity, giving a wine of medium bodied fruitiness.
The `Liber Aetatum`, the historical archive of San Gimignano, certifies the Baroncini family with land ownership rights since 1489. It wasn`t until the 1960`s that Cantine Baroncini was created by Jaures Baroncini. Today his children, Bruna and Stefano are guardians of their long heritage.
