Sangiovese Meridia - 2008Italian Red Wine 75 cl Bottle
It is medium bodied, with typical cherry and spice aromas and a soft fruity palate, with good ripe fruit and an orange zest finish. An easy drinking red with soft tannins, and is ideal as a partner to game, spicy sausages and cheese.
Founded in 1928 by Carlo Botter, the company is still in family control, being third genaration. The company has grown from making wines from the family estate of 100 hectares on the Veneta-Fruili boarder, to working with producers across Italy, especially in the regions of Puglia, Molise, Abruzzo and Sicily.
