Rose d'Anjou ' l'Ambroisie' - 2008Loire Valley Rose Wine 75 cl Bottle
A bright salmon pink rosé made from the Groslot grape variety, grown on the gravel soils of the central Loire. It is a medium dry rosé, the sweetness finely balanced with summer fruits and fresh, clean acidity.
The Alliance Loire represents the combined interests of many complementary local caves and co-operatives from Nantes to Vouvray. These members own significant vineyard in the main appellations of the west and central Loire. Across this region the land varies from alluvial gravel to limestone, schist and a mix of clay and chalk. Anjou rose is produced by the Caves des Vignerons de Saumur, one of the trend-setting forces in the Loire. The cave`s team ensure that member growers use little interferance in the vineyard and cool vinification that offers attractive fresh rose of quality and consistency
